On Being You

Halo Hippo (3)

“If every tiny flower wanted to be a rose, spring would lose its loveliness.”

~ Therese of Lisieux

I love this quote because it teaches us to be us. Be happy in your skin and leverage how different you are from everyone else, show your value to each other. Our work can push us into groupthink and group performance. For some of what we do, common goals are very important, it’s what moves the team forward, all boats rising with the tide. In many other cases, the world misses more of you, you are buried in the myriad of ideas and perspectives that are formed to hold you back. The world wants more of YOU!

What’s your contribution to the loveliness of spring?
